Hockey Concentration

The DHD Hockey Concentration Program at Philemon Wright aims to help student-athletes reach their full potential while developing positive habits they can carry into the classroom and everyday life.

Our program is built around five core values:

• Respect: Treating teammates, coaches, school staff, and opponents with respect, while taking care of equipment and facilities.
• Effort: Giving their best at every session, accepting feedback, and working consistently to improve.
• Punctuality: Arriving on time, prepared and ready to participate in practices, classes, and program activities.
• Commitment: Taking responsibility for their development and following through on their academic and athletic responsibilities.
• Mutual support: Encouraging teammates, helping others overcome challenges, and contributing to a positive and welcoming environment.

Through our partnership with Philemon Wright, we want these values to extend beyond the rink. Our goal is to strengthen students’ confidence, motivation, and sense of belonging to their school while helping them grow as athletes and individuals.
