Students have the opportunity to have their artwork displayed in the Student Art Gallery which is found in the conference room located in the admin hallway. This is another great way for students to have their hard work show cased.
The Hadley Art Club meets every Day 2 at lunch in Ms. Forrestall’s classroom (room 2.3003). Students in grade 7 & 8 are invited to spend the entire lunch period at art club. Students eat lunch there, and work on projects like ceramic pinch pots, tile mosaics, acrylic painting, and metallic embossing. The Hadley Art Club also takes field trips to the National Gallery of Canada and the Ottawa Art Gallery on PD Days! PW Art Club runs on Wednesdays in Ms.Eaton’s classroom (2.3049) during Philemon lunch (12:50 to 1:30pm). This is available to grades 9, 10 and 11 students. Students have access to materials that are not typically used in a regular art class such as alcohol markers, macramé and Tye Dye. Ms.Eaton’s volunteer has created different activities that students can sign up for outside of Ms.Eaton’s classroom.
